My Passions
Creative Technology
I have a strong passion for the technology world in its most creative forms, such as user experience design, media production, and human-computer interaction.
I love working on projects such as designing digital graphics, animating and rigging, and creating video productions.
I intend to study and implement how to use creative technologies in innovative ways to raise awareness for current issues, encourage inclusivity and representation, and inspire change.
Engineering
I was the captain and primary driver of my VEX Robotics team in high school, which sparked my interest in engineering.
I had the opportunity to explore and learn different skillsets, such as coding, building, networking, and competing.
While my team qualified for the VEX World Championship, our greatest accomplishment was our partnership with the Texas Women's Foundation and Women with a Promise, in which we used our Championship qualification to raise funds for local women in need.
Communications
My passion for design was nurtured by my time as a yearbook staff member, and my passion for video editing and film was cultivated by my time as the Creative Director of my school's broadcast program.
I enjoy experimenting with various media in creative ways to better connect with an audience and present ideas.
Additionally, I want to make the process of journalism more ethical and reduce the barriers to truthful, trustworthy knowledge.
